Coming Soon

On this day, I look into my sister’s eyes, and the first thing I see is beauty.

Not the kind of beauty a camera can capture. I see a beauty carved by resilience, by the quiet yet unbreakable strength of those who still choose kindness and love in a society that was not built for them. A world that has tried, again and again, to suppress them.

I see beauty, but I also feel the weight of sorrow. And so, I cry with my sisters.

I weep for my sisters who will not see tomorrow, their names reduced to statistics. For those whose bodies are turned into battlefields, their pain ignored, their humanity denied. For the ones who endure abuse in silence, their voices stolen by fear and shame. For the women whose dreams are locked behind doors that once led to classrooms. For those who must fight for their right to health, safety, and control over their own bodies.

And somewhere between my sorrow and my words, I wonder if I even have the right to write them, if my cushioned voice can ever carry the weight of their truth.

But still, I cry with you my sisters.

In a system that tells us our existence is lesser, that twists our softness into weakness and our emotions into burdens.
Let them call us emotional.
Let them mock our tears.

Because we will cry together. And in our tears, let us find power.

So let us mourn.
Let us rage.
Let us keep rising.

Sadhguru said, “May your dreams never come true, may your hopes never be fulfilled, because they are based on what you know.”

2024, you were far from an easy year, but I’m so deeply grateful for you.

In January, I left Quebec for a two-month trip and ended up never going back. What began as a journey to fulfill my dream of becoming a yoga teacher transformed into the start of a much deeper one, where I am a teacher, but mostly, still a student. Opportunities I couldn’t even imagine began to unfold. But they didn’t come without a price. Letting go of everything I knew, leaving behind an entire life, was hard. I learned that every decision requires letting go of something, and that’s never easy.

At that moment, I read a book called The Surrender Experiment, which completely changed my perspective on life. I decided to conduct my own experiment: to embrace the fear, release control, and step into life as it came, without resistance. Again, don’t think for a second that this was easy. Loss, grief, and fear were still present within me, but it was about seeing what would happen if I didn’t let those feelings run my life anymore. That is something I’m still working on and perhaps is the work of a lifetime.

But 2024 showed me that possibilities are endless. It showed me that when you open yourself and make space, life fills itself with things better than you can even imagine. It showed me that you can trust life, not to make it easy on you, but to bring you where you’re meant to be.

2024, what a year you’ve been. Thank you for the lessons, the growth, the love, and the people.

My third wonder of the world ; the magnificent Taj Mahal in Agra, India📍🕌

While I enjoy visiting landmarks from time to time I wouldn’t say it’s my FAVOURITE thing to do and initially I was even going to skip this stop on my India journey 😅, but I’m glad I didn’t! This monument is a true masterpiece carved in marble and definitely a magical place to visit 💫.

A few highlights from my amazing 50-hour Ashtanga Teacher Training Course with @sharath.capoeira.yoga and @radhayoga_cece ✨🤸🏼‍♂️

I discovered Ashtanga through Sharat’s classes and trained with him at 5:45 almost every morning for three months 😅. I was amazed by the way it completely transformed my yoga practice and my body in such a short amount of time.

This training felt like a natural progression and deepened my commitment to the practice even further. It has been incredibly valuable for my growth as both a practitioner and teacher. I know I will carry these teachings with me throughout my yoga journey, and I’m deeply grateful for it. 🙏

A huge thank you to my teachers @sharath.capoeira.yoga and @radhayoga_cece for all the support, knowledge, and experience shared along the way 🫂.
